Pioneer Mutual are following the advice and protocols of the NHS and Government. All of our staff are fully appraised of the requirements and are taking all precautions, the safety and wellbeing of our members is out top priorty. Our branch is still open but we are now operating reduced opening hours and restricting the number of members in branch to two at a time:
Monday 9am – 12:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10am-12.30pm
We request that members download our app and register for our online members area where you can:
Request a withdrawal
Make a card payment direct into their share 1 account
Apply for a loan (loan paperwork will be issued by post)
Send a secure message
The app can be downloaded from either Google Play or The App Store, just search for Pioneer Mutual.
If you apply for a loan online we can arrange for the paperwork to be posted with a prepaid envelope and the original signed paperwork can then be returned to ourselves via post. Or alternatively we can email this to you for you to print at home and return.
Staff will be on hand to answer emails, from 1.30pm – 3.30pm and will be working hard behind closed doors to serve our members, our reduced hours are a safety precaution for both staff and members. Please be assured that the staff are following all safety protocols and advice.
If COVID-19 has impacted your income and ability to pay your loan payment, please contact the office either by email, secure message or phone. We will endeavour to assist, as all our loans come with flexible terms so you can extend or reduce the terms with no administration fees, so we can adjust your payments to suit your financial needs, this is all part of the credit union difference.
As a nation we are being asked to stay home we understand this is a difficult and stressful time for our members. Looking after your mental wellbeing is important and Mind have provided some useful coping mechanisms.
